I missed the parade, so thanks for the great pix!
It was wonderful. Ed's Excavating and Al's big trucks were the best -- all gussied up behemoths. As I said to a parade watcher, "Ah, it just wouldn't be a Los Osos Parade without Al's Septic Pumping Truck."
That's pure Los Osos.
I had to put a link to your photo of Al's truck and to your blog here on my sewer blog, it is just too good not to spread the word! There is no town like this one, and it has earned an expansive list of adjectives, too great to attempt to list here. It took two years for us to find this place to make the big move from So Cal and every day I am grateful to have landed here. Never, ever, a dull moment! And I met more people in my neighborhood (who I am still friends with) in the first week that I lived here, than in the entire 17 years spent in my old neighborhood in the same house.
Amen to that. It really is an amazing place. Full of wonders.
