The instant boat contest was one of the funniest things I've seen.
Yes, that instant boat contest was hilarious. Like Cheever's "The Swimmer," maybe we should have a boat race from pot-hole puddle to pot-hole puddle across town, wheeled portage allowed if the distance wis over 500 yards between puddles. Call if the World Famous Holey Oar Los Osos Pot Hole Boat Scramble or something.
