I Get Paid For Everything Twice!
Ron Crawford's been looking everywhere -- high, low, up, down -- poring through piles of documents, looking, looking, looking and at last he's found him: The Author of the SOC for the disasterous Tri-W sewer plant in the middle of town. Yup. And, boy, has that guy got some 'splaining to do. Somebody call Sarah Wan! Somebody call the cops! I want my money back! At http://www.sewerwatch.blogspot.com/

Ron's done a great job in digging up the facts concerning all the corruption that's been happening all along with the flawed project for Los Osos. He's naming names, but there's still a few more that will be forthcoming...Let's not forget Corollo (sp).
If this weren't so sad it would be laughable. I sure wish this sort of time and attention was paid to the Lisa board and all of their failures and financial shenanigans, PZLDF being only one of them. But Ron's stuff and that stuff is only ancient history now. No one will go to court for any of these alleged "wrong doings," most don't care, and most of all, everyone needs to realize that the County has the project. Done deal, it's coming, like it or not.
The project is out of town and it costs more, we have liens against our houses, there are six more years of not addressing seawater intrusion: those are the things that count now. That is what those extra 20 votes got us.
Get off your soap box, Lynette, we're all tired of your same old, same old...You're SPAMMING again, stick to the topic. You've played your same tired old hand BEFORE.
This is Ann's site ha, she can kick me off if it suits her to do so.
PS - Can't you write in one of your other names just once in a while to make it look like there is more of an audience here? It would be appreciated by me at least.
Lynette, don't you know trying to guess people's identities is an idiot's errand -- especially when you're wrong -- as usual? But then chasing your tail for the answers when you don't even have a clue to the right questions appears to be your life's hapless cause, crutch and opiate. Don't you ever get sick of being sick of yourself? But OK, if it soothes your well-earned paranoia to believe that everyone who disagrees with you (i.e. the civilized world) is related to the Ochs family, then dream on, Gloria Swanson from Nowhereland! You live in your own tiny, empty, stupid world with the demons you have created to keep you company so you're not so alone.
There. Now with me and Hugh Jass (no Ochs) you have the audience you crave. Or am I talking to Lou using your name?
"Guessing peoples names - an idiot's errand -- especially when you're wrong -- as usual?" Well, that certainly clarifies what the Razor has been up to (where he is allowed to post anyway).
However, here on this blog, where did I mention the name Ochs as being GRO or TOE or even HA?
I certainly don't believe that everyone who disagrees with me is an Ochs of some extraction or through marriage! That is self absorbed projection of the first order. Or a confession. And its pretty darn weird too!
Oh well, thanks for popping back in TOE, it's been fun.
Ah, interesting. Ron's finally getting closer to who created that SOC and all you folks can do is chew on each other's ankles?
Still left to puzzle out, just WHO told Multari/clark/et al to write up that SOC? And did he have any professional or ethical due diligence requirements to advise that CSD Board that there were, indeed, alternatives? And did the CSD Board say, "We know that, but WE board members don't want that. We want an in-town plant so we want you to do what you have to do to make that happen, even if it is phony." and did any Board members say, "Hey, wait a minute. This SOC may not be legal?" Somebody? Anybody?
Churadogs, don't you think it was "someone" within County Government" that gave Multari/Clark the orders to write the SOC? That "statement" sounds eerily like something out of Pandora Nash Karner's computer, though. I do believe that since Multari/Clark are "licensed professionals", they DID INDEED have a fiduciary obligation to advise the CSD Board of ALL ALTERNATIVES available to them... That being said, Lynette can now GO BACK TO THE ASYLUM...
Everyone should take a look at the 1995 LOCAC vision statement for Los Osos - it would address the park question. I wasn't here, but heard that community input - workshops, I think - were done to get community input as to a sewer park.
Here are a couple of vision statement quotes:
• Neighborhood and community parks, consistent with the population size and needs. Some of these parks are established in conjunction with the school district and on land already owned by the County. A minimum of 70 acres of community and neighborhood parks is required to bring the community up to established standards now on a population basis of 15,000.
• Our waste water treatment facility(s) is based on a natural biological process rather than mechanical system approach to the highest extent possible. These facilities have become a visual and recreational asset to the community, including development of water supply for agricultural or irrigation purposes, and habitat for wildlife.
(Bolding is mine.)
Hundreds of hours of community input went into creating the vision statement. There was huge buy-in for the location to contain a park. 80% support for in town, in fact. The fact that the technology changed due to the "floatables" problem does not alter the wish for a park, in fact it makes it more do-able.
So my question is - we now have it out-of-town for $189 million - and no park - just a restoration of Tri-W - so are you stoppers of Tri-W happy?
Lynette, you DOLT! THAT was Pandora's "vision statement"....
Ann writes:
”… just WHO told Multari/clark/et al to write up that SOC? ”
I do wonder: How much embarrassment can I heap on Rob Miller and Chris Clark, and the other consultants (that I’m also about to expose) that were responsible for the Tri-W disaster, before ONE of them finally snaps and says something like, “Look, you think that embarrassment was OUR idea? It was f-ing Pandora who told us that the community demanded that they be able to easily get to the picnic area in their f-ing sewer plant, and so that’s what we f-ing did!! The only thing I did wrong was f-up and trust her. That disaster wasn’t my fault!”

‘toons, you have my word, I’ll pay both you and Pandora ten bucks a piece, if, next Tuesday, you two show up in front of the Board of Supervisors, and demand that the county add $2.3 million in park crap, like a “picnic area” and a “tot lot,” to the Giacomazzi sewer plant, because the project the County developed doesn’t adhere to the 1995 Los Osos Vision Statement’s “These facilities have become a visual and recreational asset to the community."
$10 bucks… a piece!
Aw gawd, that’d be SOOOO sweet.
Wanna see a great Google search?
SewerWatch “Vision Statement”
The only "vision" I ever voted for was a cheaper sewer.
No dog in this fight anymore, just stating an undeniable truth.
Word verification, boopu I guess so.
hugh jass, if name calling makes you feel better about yourself - go for it. Maybe you can update us with the current LOCAC vision statement? Show us the differences.
Ron, the sewer is outside of the urban reserve line - in other words, it is not part of the community. The vision statement does not apply.
No one is going to "snap" Ron; that was you doing it a long time ago. (Say, how's that Pulitzer going? I saw the results online.)
I forgot to add this tidbit of information - the park was only ONE of SEVEN issues included the SOC. Maybe Ron can name the others?
I might also remind the readers here that when CCLO argued before the Coastal Commission that the Tri-W project only included the LAND for a park with NO AMENITIES, the Coastal Commission AGREED with them (CCLO being Al, Julie, Lisa, Keith, etc.), and the CSD was OBLIGATED, IN ORDER TO GET THE PERMIT, to add in the park's amenities.
So actually, we can thank Julie and Lisa, etc., NOT Pandora, for cementing that the project would have to include those amenities.
Lynette, since you're a PIMP for Bruce Gibson & the County & also part of Pandora's TAG TEAM, YOU ARE completely IRRELEVANT...now, TAKE OFF THAT UGLY WHITE MAKE UP, BRUSH YOUR TEETH & GO TO BED. (permanently) Face facts, Pandora is behind EVERYTHING regarding the TERRIBLE TRI W. She's the one that gave ALL the orders & YOU know it.
Didn't the old board yank those amenities out of the project, in effect leaving the full blown most expensive sewer possible at the worst possible site without a park or other amenities? I was under the impression the Coastal Commission declared they were to be in there to approve putting the sewer at that site.
Sincerely, M
Ron sez:"I do wonder: How much embarrassment can I heap on Rob Miller and Chris Clark, and the other consultants (that I’m also about to expose) that were responsible for the Tri-W disaster, before ONE of them finally snaps and says something like, “Look, you think that embarrassment was OUR idea? Yeah, that's what's so interesting. Also, did MWH's engineers ever, ever say to the CSD Board, "Uh, you know, you keep telling us to add all these amenities and wave walls and stuff to make this sewer plant overcome all these various problems, shouldn't you simply go back to Plan B and locate it out of town since that wouldn't run into so many expensive problems and would comply better with CEQA?" Did any eithical, professional engineer at MWH say anything like that? Ever?
Churadogs, don't keep leaving Rob Miller out of the mix. He (& the Wallace Group) was a huge part of the problem, along with Rob's good buddy Steve Hyland of MWH. They're still cozy. Pandora was the one calling the shots all along. Of course SHE wants HER park, even though she's trying to make "busy" work for herself at the Botanical Gardens. Corollo will be NEXT to be exposed...
M, the amenities were yanked by the CSD due to cost complaints by CCLO, (Ron can probably name the figures involved). The Coastal Commission STAFF agreed with that in their report. But they were added back in at the Coastal Commission hearing by Commissioner Potter because CCLO changed its mind and complained loudly about the park stuff being gone during public comment! Talk about a flip flop!
Ann, Plan B was never to put it out of town. The "expensive problems" that you think could have been avoided would merely have been replaced by expensive new engineering for a different treatment plant, new permits, acquiring land (if any was for sale - eminent domain if it wasn't), new environmental studies and of course - what is a Los Osos sewer without another lawsuit or two!?
Asking the question about an eithical, professional engineer saying anything "like that" is like asking if an ethical, professional law firm and GM shouldn't have advised the Lisa board to keep going ahead with the collection system in order to KEEP the $134 million loan!
What is amazing to me is that Ron thinks a) he can cause embarrassment to anyone with his blogging and b) that anyone in power is listening to him.
When is he going to catch on that no one cares what he thinks?
Beats me - especially when he puts such a snide and accusatory tone to the letters he sends, I don't get why he thinks anyone would respond. I think the psychological payoff must only be in the negative, self congratulatory words.
Lynette NO one CARES what YOU think. Fact is, it's highly doubtful that YOU actually DO THINK!
