Probably a stupid question but was this just a random occurence or do they always like to warm up by the fire?
Either way they are very cute!
Basenjis, particularly, are like cats. They love their warmth. Before he died, Mizigo and her brother would jamb themselves up next to the fire screen. Zuri,(the sloughi) being short haired, gets cold too, so she's taken to standing next to the fire to warm up. So now we have the two of them nudging up to get warm.
