Yup, You Can Say That Again

For another take on the recent BOS meeting on the Rates & Charges protest “vote,” here’s Rock of the Coast.

SEWER BILLS FOREVER!

Supervisor Bruce Gibson had previously declared that “Prohibition Zone” homeowners would pay for San Luis Obispo County’s $200 million Los Osos Wastewater Project one way or another, and on December 14 he delivered on that promise – sticking them with the most expensive per capita sewer project – and now sewer bill – in U.S. history, to be built in an officially-declared “disadvantaged community” in the middle of the “Great Recession.”

Great, The Crock of the Boast has cranked up the fog machine.
Coming soon to a channel 20 near you, A LOCAC meeting in which the Sustainability group makes it’s claims. Watch it. You can compare the statements in this meeting, that took place on Thursday (two days after the ordinance passed) to the pre vote workshop questions (Still running concurrently).
Go to the source, whenever possible.
Los Osos sustainability group is still talking about additional mitigations to Willow creek. Who has vetted those scientific findings?
Treating at the well head instead of a Sewer? Would it work? Somewhat. Unfortunately, not approved /approvable by any coastal commission.
Is the Sewer still unaffordable? ; YES. Is anyone other than the county doing something constructive about it?
It would have been great if a qualified citizens think tank had formed that could analyze the project, preferably individuals who had the experience to start from scratch, or at least review the initial inputs and basic assumptions (Inherited verbatim from Al Barrow & Gail).

It would also had helped if there was some responsible reporting on this, standard media or alternate.

Ann,

Thanks for posting my article from The Rock. I appreciate it.

Mike,

Has this "blog" disintergrated into a shill for the ochs bullshit?

You would prefer it be a shill for Taxpayers Watch bullshit?

How goes that Wrecklamator anyway mister ed...???

You obviously don't read, Mike. Type in "Tom Murphy" in The Rock search and tell me what you find. You're so weak I don't think you can even do that.

I told you not to jump off the operating table before the lobotomy was finished... but no, you didn't want to miss another "Biggest Loser."

P.S. Ann's rap on Tom Murphy at the BOS last Tuesday was one of the funniest bits I've ever read here. Everyone with humor deficit disorder should read it twice. Just scroll down.

Since your hands are busy, just push the down arrow with your nose, Mike.

Mr. Ed said...

Alon, you're an idiot and everyone knows it.

Mike said...

WOW...!!!! Such intelligence... but then we know Mr.Ed is really a mental genius... we know because he rented a house to Tom Murphy with the specific intent of showing how wonderful the Wrecklamator was and that all of Los Osos should buy one...!!!!

Well Mr.Ed... please tell the community just how you made out financially with the rental AND just how well that Wrecklamator performed....!!!!

What, YOU are too big a coward to explain how you were sucked in (but you were such a big fan) by the snake oil being poured on Los Osos...

That makes YOU one of the biggest horses ass's around...!!!!! Foreclosure...???
Financial Stupidity...!!!!

Alon Perlman said...

Refreshingly Honest, Mr. Ed.
Too bad "you" can't keep it up.

Mr. Ed said...

Mad Mike,

I don't know where you got your information from but I never rented my house to Tom Murphy and never took a dime from him. Never let facts get in the way when you can make stuff up, right?

Don't look in The Rock for the truth, Mike. Your allergy might kick up and cause you to lose sleep over everything you don't know.

Stay ignorant as long as you possibly can.

Mike said...

...I do apologise aaron... it was your father rened and lost the house... you don't own any property... does he know you are sneaking into Ann's blog again...???

If you are so fearful of the community reading The Rock, Alon, why do you talk about it so much? Not only does no one listen to your gibberish, but your "Don't Read The Rock!" campaign is the best free advertising we've had this year. When are you going to wise up? Never mind, I already know the answer to that: NEVER. Fools never do. They just grow old.

Bruce Gibson hasn't told the truth one time yet!

I remember him on the Congalton show telling the listeners that $25,000. was the complete, final cost.

I knew he was lying at the time because he knew the hook-ups weren't included.

Gibson and Paavo have lied about everything.

There is definitely the "appearance of conflict of interest" - we'll see what happens to them!

Be honest for once in your miserable life, Alon, your hatred for The Rock has nothing to do with the content in The Rock -- like the subject of my article, for example, because you state no specific complaint with it -- it's with who does The Rock. It's personal with you. Always.

That's doesn't change the facts. You are STILL not an expert on anything but harassment and suppression. You STILL have nothing to spout but obscenities, STILL nothing new to add to any discussion but the same old "Look at me! Over here in the high chair in the corner!"

Alon sez;"Treating at the well head instead of a Sewer? Would it work? Somewhat. Unfortunately, not approved /approvable by any coastal commission."

Nor allowed by the RWQCB or Porter Cologne. BUT, here's an example of "skinning cats." IF anyone in either the regulatory/administrative/legislative branches had put cost of nitrate reduction (to the state allowed, which, right now, is still very close) at the top of the list and viewed this as a loading problem, and modified the regs, and allowed a variety of solutions to be used/considered (the old, let best technology rise to the top, eh, Paavo?) then, well-head de-nitrification along with other methods (partial STEP, vacuum/sealed pipe collection for low-lying areas, ag-exchange, recharge, on-site systems in outlying areas, a real septic maintenance district & etc. might have resulted in nitrate reduction in the upper aquifer to meet state standards at an overall lower price.) BUT, all of that would require a mind-set that put cost at the top of the list and allowed design/build form to have followed function.

In our case, we had a done deal masquerading as a clean evaluation Process -- fake from day one with price as no barrier.

Alon Perlman said...

We do have septic constituants in groundwater that would not clean out in denitrification.
I can see additional reasons why the county shied away from STEP (Historical, not just "Histrionics-Al", Orenco should had simply disconnected from him, and some other perceived risks). BTW -Among individuals who think STEP was possible for the county to have pursued at one time-Marshal O.
Injection wells - now there’s another regulatory slight of hand. Apparently if you say you are disposing of x amount of water you can do so. But heavens to Betsy don't announce that you are planning to reclaim it- even if you were approvable till that point, including maps of your planned production wells- they will shut you right down. Water; amazing stuff, it can carve through rock. Here in California, the only thing that can hold it back is bureaucratic paper.

I suppose you support the Tribune?!

Perhaps at this point in time the community should simply change the date, and enter our new Governor's name on the appeal letter dated June 11, '1997' from Stan, David & Gordon.

The format is all there, all we need to do is change amounts and location, etc. The 50%, If not more leaving town sounds about right, as well as nitrate levels may not change for 45 years, if at all.

The extent of fiscal stress caused in the community by the mandate cannot be determined any more precisely than the end cost of the mandate, which has changed dramatically since it was imposed. The consequences are no less real.

However, I doubt very much they will have any interest in updating their cost estimate and degree of fiscal stress of the mandate.

Mike (Richard),

You say we're "squealing like a couple of stuck pigs" -- in reality we are pointing out the facts and truth (unlike you, Gibson, Paavo and Lynette) -- I don't know if Fog believes that this major public works project (the sewer) is as much of a scam "land grab" as I do (and let's not forget the PZ is keeping the County and it's Public Works Dept. in business!!) -- but isn't it odd how all these seniors who OWN THEIR HOME OUT RIGHT will lose them to the County and the realtors?!

This is completely avoidable. But the County doesn't blink. Gibson says people won't lose their homes. Yeah, right.

Wasn't Gibson's campaign manager the one who was going to be allowed to build some 12-17 luxury homes on the corner of Pine and LOVR? And hasn't that same person sub-contracted for MWH???!!!

A little too cozy for my taste, but it's obviously just fine with you!

Oh, and my comic relief for the day -- when Mr. Ed said to you, "I told you not to jump off the operating table before the lobotomy was finished... but no, you didn't want to miss another "Biggest Loser."

You, Alon, criticize by delivering only insults -- which people in Los Osos can clearly see, since you post under your real name -- and you repeatedly fail to justify those insults. Saying that "examples are readily available in plain sight on their site" is not good enough.

As an academic with a B.A. in Microbiology and Immunology, you would know that proof triumphs over assertion. You know the scientific method, do you not? You pose the hypothesis, "The ROCK is bad," but you have not tested it. Based on that, I can conclude that your arguments against us and what we do is petty. That's one of the most interesting aspects of this: Humpty-Dumptyism: When I use a word it means exactly what I say it shall mean, neither more nor less. Consider: "discharge" vs "recharge" One's a no-no, one's o.k. even though the water is the same water. Or consider "discharge" of septage from a septic tank: NO NO. "discharge" of clean water from a brand new septic tank: NO NO. The disconnect from reality is really stunning. Alice in Wonderland time.

Alon Perlman said...

And don't get me started on "leaky" septic tanks.
After all, if you plug up the outlet, it becomes a "Holding Tank". Leaching and leaking sound alike for a reason.
(You (RWQ)call it septic tank-I call it septic SYSTEM, let's call the whole thing off)

(Granted you lose almost 10 feet of vadose zone when a seepage pit is used instead of a leach field. and there are reports of WOODEN septic tanks in the PZ)

Still; the lessons learned are not that you can't fight city hall, it's that; if you do, you have to really bring your "A" game like never before. And if you don't have an "A" game, don't just hand it off to your friends who seem to know a little more than you do, cause that may not be good enough.

About 4 years ago I told Peter Douglass I was from Los Osos. He said "Ah, the failing septic tanks of Los Osos" and ran back into the meeting.

As I wrote to the CCC: The regulatory agencies have failed Los Osos, the public process has failed Los Osos. Now it's your turn again. They must have read that part because they did (but not the "how" most think).
At this point this project has more ornaments, flocking and flickering lights than O'l Tanenbaum.

Ann,

Sorry I'm moving my post to this comment section because the other will be off the front page soon.

Chris,

You say, "It wasn't starting the project that devistated the community it was stopping the project with no workable plan."

Problem with that is the RECALLED board had already sunk over $3 into the project.

We could have moved ahead with Ripley, and moved the sewer out of town (to the same place it will now be.)

It was the State Water Board loaning out all that money with an unsecured loan that allowed the recalled board to start that very STUPID project a month early (so there would be no turning back of course!)

Remember Stan saying, "WE LEFT YOU WITH NOTHING -- no money!!"

But, obviously the State Water Board wanted Tri-W and wanted MWH even though they aren't to dictate what system we select.

I personally saw a memo from the State Water board requesting Steve Highland (of MWH) sit in on a meeting with them. This memo was to Blakeslee. Why?

I believe it's because MWH has been handing out money to many. That's what they do.

And also remember (and by the way, this is not a rumor! -- Blakeslee was taking MWH's calls all during his AB2701.)

Nope, you don't want to admit it, but it was the recalled board's fault for the financial mess that we're in -- with a little help from the State Water Board.

But does it really matter? You won the recall...the bankruptcy, loss of control of the project, and new higher costs are just the consequences of your actions.

Alon sez:"About 4 years ago I told Peter Douglass I was from Los Osos. He said "Ah, the failing septic tanks of Los Osos" and ran back into the meeting."

There you see one of the major problems; regulatory bodies that didn't know, didn't care and, most important, DID NOT WANT TO KNOW. And you can see how deadly effective the false "anti-sewer obstructionist" phrase was. To regulators who don't want to know, an "anti sewer obstructionist" in a town filled with "failing septic tanks" is somebody who needs to be punished and fined out of existence. Problem solved.

Mike sez:"If YOU are so smart, just WHY haven't the responsible government authorities followed up on your rumors...????"

Quick, name me the last time a government authority hip deep in questionable doings blew the whistle on itself?

Mikee also sez:"It is a waste of time responding to you... YOU ARE A FRAUD...!!!!"

So why do you keep returning to this blog to keep repeatedly, repeatedly, repeatedly responding, responding, responding, hitting that old comment bar like an cocaine-addicted rat in his cage hitting his little reward bar repeatedly, repeatedly, repeatedly. GRO,

You write in defense of the Shicker-Tacker-Sesena-Senet-Fouche Board: “Problem with that is the RECALLED board had already sunk over $3 into the project.”

I’m not sure why you think spending $3 would sink anything. As amusing as that is, I think you were attempting to imply that by investing $3 million in a capital improvement project the recalled board somehow brought about the loss of control of the project to the County, the bankruptcy, and the failure of the Shicker-Tacker-Sesena-Senet-Fouche Board.

I need you to explain that a bit further. Retired banker hubby has been fascinated by the sheer per-capita size of the CSD bankruptcy as well as the complete failure of the Shicker-Tacker-Sesena-Senet-Fouche Board to serve the best interest of the community. He’s been following the projects and the paper trail and his analysis of the District’s financial problems is very different from what you imply.

According to Hubby, when the Shicker-Tacker-Sesena-Senet-Fouche board took over the District’s financial reports show between $3 to $4 MILLION on hand in the CSD accounts. The property owners had passed a 218 vote to secure over $20 MILLION in bond proceeds of which $19 MILLION worth had be sold. And finally the District had been approved for an SRF loan totaling over $150 MILLION and had deposited over $8 MILLION from the first State payments on that loan. (I believe Mr. Legros has explained this many times).

So please explain how $3 million “sunk” in the project dried up almost $30 MILLION in assets on hand and froze access to over $145 MILLION in approved SRF funds…in less than 12 months…forcing Shicker-Tacker-Sesena-Senet-Fouche board to declare bankruptcy.

A bad idea, that Tri-W gravity project. And you and your recalled board broke the law by not having a 218 vote on the project.

And no, I won't defend the "Lisa" board. I can't.

I can only say that the project YOU started before the election was an illegal project because there was no 218 vote. The State Water board caused the financial ruin of the town because they wanted MWH and so much so that they chose to give out an illegal unsecured loan. Those SRF monies are mostly federal monies.

This is nothing to laugh about, in fact, let's see how long you're laughing.

You say, "So please explain how $3 million “sunk” in the project dried up almost $30 MILLION in assets on hand and froze access to over $145 MILLION in approved SRF funds…in less than 12 months…forcing Shicker-Tacker-Sesena-Senet-Fouche board to declare bankruptcy." BLAH BLAH BLAH...

I say again, the recalled board DID NOT HAVE TO START THE PROJECT AND SPEND OVER $3 MILLION A MONTH EARLY. THEY COULD HAVE WAITED FOR THE RESULTS OF MEASURE B AND THE RECALL.

THE RECALLED BOARD DID NOT HAVE A 218 VOTE ON THE PROJECT.

THE STATE BOARD GAVE OUT AN UNSECURED LOAN - THE PROJECT COULD NOT GO ANY FURTHER BECAUSE THE STATE WATER BOARD WAS NOW DEMANDING A VOTE BEFORE GIVING OUT ANY ADDITIONAL SRF MONEY!

AGAIN, YOU AND RICHARD CAN SPIN IT ANY WAY YOU WANT TO MAKE IT SEEM LIKE THE RECALLED BOARD DID NOTHING WRONG, BUT THEY DID.

THEY STARTED A PROJECT HALF THE TOWN DIDN'T WANT. THEY BROKE THE LAW BY DENYING THE PEOPLE THE RIGHT TO VOTE ON BEING TAXED FOR THE PROJECT.

I have asked both you (Lynette) and Mike (Richard) to tell me what I've been incorrect about -- never heard from either of you. Now you demand I answer you...figures!

I'm not defending the "Lisa" board as you state. I only point out that you set them up to fail!

Please let me remind you again, the County thought the Tri-W project wasn't good either!

You CAN NOT DENY (no matter how hard you try) that starting that horrible Tri-W project early wasn't the start of the financial ruin of the community!

P.S. Chris, I know you have to be Lynette because:

(A) Your spelling is accurate
(B) You're thick headed
(C) You're just as annoying - making one repeat the same info over and over
(D) Lynette disappears and all the sudden Chris appears, and we KNOW Lynette can NOT stop blogging!
(E) Nobody can "spin" it like Lynette and Richard

NOW, YOU TWO GO A HAVE YOURSELF A MERRY CHRISTMAS if you can.

Hi Lynette (Chris),

Congratulations on your new identity! Wear it well!

I can imagine how hard it must have been for you to go cold turkey and flee the blogs, then figure out a way to come crawling back under the cloak of yet another identity. Nothing new there, eh?

When you think about it, if you THINK about anything but your County paycheck, it must have been terribly hard for you to figure out how to post without putting anybody down. Didn't take long though, did it! It's easy, just adopt another identity and be a more civilized troll, that advice according to my hair stylist hubby who is an expert on sewer finances. It must have hurt bad to twist your head to look inward, even for a moment, to find just the right tone. Tranqs very much?

Glad you could change identities, and that it makes YOU feel better about the new year, but you are still the same old rat running the same worn maze of misinformation, disinformation, distortion and just plain old propaganda that people are tired of hearing under any fake name.

So come out, come out, whatever you are and blog under your own name for a change, for the new year, and stand by your BS rather than perfecting the anonymous witch-hunt -- without taking any responsibility for sowing division in the community, which is what you are most famous for.

Same people, different names, same agenda, same allergy to facts, same disdain for the community.

For you it's never a New Year, it's always 2005 all over again.

GRO,

OK, so far you’ve made it clear that you lack math skills (both addition and subtraction and apparently comparing volumes as well), now we can add a lack of understanding of contracts. I believe Mr. Legros has explained this many times as well.

Be that as it may, even if your assumptions about start times is correct, you still haven’t explained how the old Board investing $3 million in a fully approved project dried up almost $30 MILLION in assets on hand and froze access to over $145 MILLION in approved SRF funds…in less than 12 months…forcing Shicker-Tacker-Sesena-Senet-Fouche board to declare bankruptcy.

What you seem to naively misunderstand, as Alon has pointed out, is that a newly elected board doesn’t start as if what previous boards have done doesn’t count. District documents show that when Shicker-Tacker-Sesena-Fouche took office the CSD accounts contained $3 to $4 MILLION. In addition, something over $2 million remaining from the property owners 218 bond proceeds was available for their use. And finally Shicker-Tacker-Sesena-Fouche had over $140 Million in an approved SRF loan available.

So please answer my question and explain why, with almost $150 Million at their disposal, Shicker-Tacker-Sesena-Senet-Fouche failed so miserably.
Ho, Ho, Ho!

(Mr. Ed…I don’t know what you are talking about, and I doubt you do either. But thanks for the entertainment you provide guessing about everyone’s identity. You did remind me of a quote I recently read…”...you're an idiot and everyone knows it.” Mr. Ed, December 18, 2010)

Chris,

(I believe Lynette!) you said, "And finally Shicker-Tacker-Sesena-Fouche had over $140 Million in an approved SRF loan available..."

This is a lie.

The State Water Board would NOT lend out any more money after the first installment because there was no vote and they wanted one. This is documented.

The project was illegal.

The first 218 was for purchase of the Tri-W land and for MWH's plans.

Keep on spinning! (Lynette) and keep trying real hard to make us believe that this isn't you.

That's right -- your buddies are criminals!

NOW, let's talk about all these recent spills in SLO from the rotten gravity systems.

AND, how Morro Bay's leaky, rotten, gravity pipes have their drinking water SO MUCH WORSE THAN WE EVER HAD!

I'm waiting for your response.

Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha... It's still incredible how utterly stupid a couple of the, oh can't call them obstructionists...they are too stupid to understand that they had nothing to do with any decisions surrounding the Los Osos sewer planning... But it is funny to hear them squeal...

Have a wonder Christmas holiday... I'm too old to change... but have a wonderful family time...

Chris said...

Ooo, nice try GRO...the CSD documents just don't tell the same story that you do. It's clear Shicker-Tacker-Sesena-Senet-Fouche squandered their opportunities to help the community and now we are stuck with the costs.

OK about the sewer leaks, which is bigger? Every sewer in the County spilling a couple of thousand gallons ever 10 years or so...OR Los Osos septic tanks leaching 1 MILLION gallons of pollution each and every day for more than 30 years?

Laughing all the way! Merry Christmas.

GetRealOsos said...

Lynette (Oh, I mean it's now Chris) and Richard (Oh, I mean Mike)

What's worse? Septic Tanks or Morro Bay's leaking MWH pipes?

I'd say Morro Bay's pipes. Just look at the nitrate levels in their groundwater. Way more than LO.

Give us a break with your bull.

Merry Christmas to you, Lynette, and same goes to Richard.

P.S. I'm not laughing at all (like you two are,) because just one family losing their home for a bad MWH gravity mega sewer is very sad, let alone hundreds of people.

And you're Christian? ... laughing at anyone or any of this?!

Chris said...

GRO,

Finally we’ve come to the end of the discussion. You selfishly (and unwisely) are just fine polluting your drinking water and Morro Bay, and increasing salt water intrusion. You simply don’t want a sewer, could care less about protecting your drinking water, and don’t care about the health and safety of your neighbors or the environment. I’d be expecting a lump of coal if I were you.

If you were interested in more than just protecting your self interests, you would have found out that Morro Bay has a sewer that disposes the water in the ocean. So Morro Bay’s nitrate problem isn’t coming from their sewer. I wonder the source of nitrates in Morro Bay ground water might be…hmmm Morro Bay wells are in agricultural areas. You should have been thinking about cows and fertilizer continually flowing in with little or no flow out.

On the other hand, as Mr. Legros has discussed many times, Los Osos septic tanks that dispose into a DRINKING WATER source so polluted that you can no longer drink from it. What the nitrate level data show is that your basin has reached a level of equilibrium…but you’ll remember from high school chemistry (sorry, I’m assuming you went to high school), that equilibrium would be reached when the flow in is equal to the flow out. So what could that possibly mean in Los Osos? Well one of the District engineers explained that something like 300,000 gallons PER DAY of your preferred Los Osos septic discharge flows into Morro Bay! (Math Quiz: if 300,000 gallons of septic tank discharge reaches the bay every day, and a year equals 365 days for a total of 109,500,000 gallons per year, how many gallons of contamination has Los Osos septic tanks polluted Morro Bay with in 30 years?)

However, it is clear that you like peeing in your drinking water and you really don’t care about anything else but yourself. (What’s so Christian about that?). I see no further point in discussing ths with you further.

I would be laughing at you…except my feelings of pity for you are so overwhelming.

This Mr. Legros you keep alluding to, is this the same one that yelled "I have f*****g balls"? Is this the same Mr. Legros that was recalled from his position as CSD director? Is this the same Mr. Legros that filed for bankruptcy in his personal dealings recently? Is this the same Mr. Legros that missed the bids from his groups sewer project by 46% and accepted them anyway? We should accept his word, why?! Laughing at you is one of Mr. Legros's pet sayings, so all in all one would guess that you have drank way too much of his kool-aid.
Sincerely, M

Mike said...

Ha Ha Ha Ha... what a bunch of whinning losers... At least Richard had the fucking balls to put up with your shit for as long as he did...!!! YOU don't have ANY balls...!!!! You are still trying to blame the failures of of their ego-activist-terrorist tactics on the pre-recall Board...

Well, M, the rest of the community is laughing at you today...!!!

Just get your checkbooks ready for sewer shock thanks to you fools...

M said...

Nice Mike. You add a real touch of class to your group.

M said...

You're right Mike. If I had any balls, I would mention how one of the posters here has the exact same biography as one of the emailers that sent an e-mail to Roger Briggs after the recall vote to ask him to penalize the community. This e-mailer also happens to share the last name of one of the recalled directors. This e-mailer didn't even live in this County.
Sincerely, M

Mike said...

...and you have displayed NONE...!!! Just another silly ego-terrorist who never knew Richard or any of the others who put up with a whole lot of threats and character assassinations from asses like you who still likes to play games with other peoples lives... YOU apparently have no life... just an expensive sewer... It must be time for you to shoo off to a church to feel good about how you are so above those you try to vilify... YOU are nothing but a hypocrite... Enjoy patting yourself on the back.... Thanks...!!!!

Bravo GRO!

You did a brilliant job roasting dull Lynette's stale chestnuts over your open fire and exposing her as the liar, fraud and pox on the community that she is.

Lynette has no answers for the truth or facts, just a few dozen tasteless baloney sandwiches paid for by the County and MWH -- and no one's buying anything she's selling.

Anyone who wishes death on their neighbors is as rotten as they come and beyond redemption.

At least now the only fool on the blog that doesn't know CHRIS is LYNETTE is... LYNETTE. Readers can now identify what old, bigoted spigot all the polluted mis- and dis-information is leaking from and adjust accordingly.

Merry Christmas, GRO, for crushing ignorance and shining the spotlight of truth on one of the saddest, emptiest, darkest corners of Los Osos -- Lynette Tornatsky's "heart."

Mike said...

...again Mr.Ed, or reather, aaron, YOU are mistaken...as is M and GRO, when you try to put names and faces to those you misunderstand... Chris is not Lynette, and I am certainly not Richard... YOU continue to underestimate this community and how much we dislike and do not trust you who have created this mess...

Chris (Lynette),

There has been significant evidence to support the theory that sewage from the City’s dilapidated infrastructure is a major factor in the contamination of the Morro Bay wells. (Even though the City staff deny that sewage is a factor.)

The Morro Bay collection pipes are cracked and leaking and are in very bad shape. There is video of the damage and also some homes have no laterals basically.

Also, you can not tell me that the Morro Bay sewer plant itself isn't contributing to bay pollution (let alone the runoff, people on boats, etc. there are dozens of polluters).

And, I'm one who bought my home after 83-13 -- the county sure didn't care about any septic tank pollution when over a thousand additional homes were built.

Shouldn't you be blaming the County?

P.S. You say that I don't want a sewer, just another lie from you -- I want the best sewer for the money and in the best location.

What the heck is the matter with that?!

Chris (Lynette),

I've got a question, you say,

"... one of the District engineers explained that something like 300,000 gallons PER DAY of your preferred Los Osos septic discharge flows into Morro Bay!..."

Would you be so kind as to tell us exactly WHO that engineer is AND where we can find that documentation?

Churadogs said...

I'd like to know who that engineer is also.

GetRealOsos said...

Ann,

Sounds like Richard (Mike) and Chris (Lynette) don't want to answer this one (who the engineer is) -- that figures!
