Winter Blessing
Spring's colt, now nearly as big as his Mum, feasts on the first greening. A winter blessing after the long summer's drought.

Lovely! There are some horses around where we are now too, they are decked out in blankets and winter coats!
The grass grows green in SLO County while it shrivels and freezes here in Larimer County, CO!

Guess the site's having a hissy fit. It's amazing how quickly the grasses leap at the least drop of rain. Guess they know it's a life or death race to see who can set the most seeds before the killing heat sets in.
Yes! Grass is not letting any grass grow under its feet in that department if you will pardon the pun!
