Your Sunday Poem

by Kay Ryan, whose book of poems, "Say Uncle" is in your local bookstore waiting for you to come and get it and read it.
Fool's Errands
A thing
cannot be
delivered
enough times:
this is the
rule of dogs
for whom there
are no fool's
errands. To
loop out and
come back is
good all alone.
It's gravy to
carry a ball
or a bone.

Godspeed to Kasimu as he makes his way to the Rainbow Bridge to meet the ancestors and siblings gone before him, his circle complete.
